Signs of Spring in Winter

Santa Cruz Mountains

After weeks of winter rains, plum blossoms burst into being. Thus begins a new annual cycle.

Amongst the bare branches, new blossoms flourish. Soon leaves will follow.

They blossom under wintery skies and despite cold February temperatures.

The promise of summer fruit is held in the tiny wet flowers.

The first of many blossoms opens fully, attracting bees and other pollinating insects.

  1. Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform you're using? I'm going to start my own blog in the near future but I'm having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask! gmail log in

    1. Hi Travis, this is Blogger. It's not the most flexible platform, but it's free. It works for me.
