November is a month for saying goodbye to this year's growing season. The last of the leaves that served the dogwood well during the year turn golden red and fall. It is time for the tree to rest.
It's time to say goodbye to the garden this year, and thank the plants which have fed us throughout the season. With just a bit of luck, there will be volunteer tomatoes in the yard again next spring.
